This is the website for Natasha Walter - author, journalist and charity founder.

I'm writing and campaigning for a world in which women can flourish on a flourishing planet.

My next book,
Feminism for a World on Fire,  takes a global view of current challenges facing women, from online misogyny to the climate emergency.

Join me at these upcoming events:

13 May 2026: Conway Hall, London, with Carole Cadwalladr and Aja Barber

21 May 2026: Brighton Literary Festival, with Shahed Ezaydi, N.S. Nuseibeh, and Azieb Pool

More events - including in Bradford in June, Edinburgh in August and Queen's Park Book Festival in September - will be listed here soon.

I'm also the author of Living Dolls: the Return of Sexism, a book about young women and the hypersexual culture, as well as three other books.
I founded the charity Women for Refugee Women, where I was the director for 15 years, campaigning with refugee women for justice and safety.
I used to work full time as a journalist, and I still often write for the Guardian and the Observer, as well as other outlets.
I've been Visiting Professor of Women's Rights at Cambridge University and I'm now Honorary Professor at the Centre for Climate Crime and Climate Justice at Queen Mary University of London.

This website has a bit of information about me, contact details and some more on my books.
